Hi everybody,

I’m a noob here but have been reading a lot about the different types of systems that can be put together. I am going to start small with the mtmini project first, but after that my ultimate goal is to make a rear projection DSI touch screen solution similar to this youtube video. I understand how the DSI method listed in the “getting started” section would work. I am just not clear on how to get the projected image onto the endlight acrylite like on the video. Wouldn’t it pass all the light straight through it? Is there a “frosted” version of the acrylite? Do I add a layer of some thin material to keep all the light from passing through? Please bear in mind that I have no idea how the contraption in the video works, I would just like a similar end result.

Great to know! I didn’t realize that acrylite was frosted and can be used as a projection surface. (Sorry but I’m new to projectors in general).
