3 -Testing DSI prototype
Quick test of the DSI proto by Eric
Installation of the last PS3 driver and Tbeta test version for PS3 in less than 5 mn (!!!)
this DSI test ,under that shaky and unstable environnment , seems absolutly doable
4 -Testing Projet CV lib
JYG showcased his PureData Project using the OpenCv and Fiducial libs . that means you can can play music by (literrally) drawing (squares, circles) on a sheet of paper and triggering pre recorded sounds using fiducials . He also added a paper interface (with 3 black rectangles on it ) for play , trigger and position select of sounds .
Conclusion
That was definitly a great meeting, such a panel of “multi-horizons” attendees provides a wide angle of understanding and field experiences . It seems clear that the lack of great Framework for multitouch (that could free minds from solve basic programmation tasks) still asphyxiate the creation of great contents .
- next meeting ? a TouchCamp on March 21st in Paris @ La Cantine Numérique
