Salut,

Ma RamvikTouch est fonctionnel et terminée à 80%.
edit : 12/07/2011 100% finish ( possible improvement or full change in the future with touchscreen multitouch + LCD 32 “ )

Voici quelques photos:

Hello,

edit : 12/07/2011 100% finish ( possible improvement or full change in the future with touchscreen multitouch + LCD 32 “ )

I have to mount the drawers and incorporate the power button / reset button, card reader, reader / writer, Rheobus ... but I must first extend the cables and create / adapt a formwork for retain the function of storage!

I used a sunscreen for the reflection of infrared (silver 80), the aluminum bars on the sides also.

You can see traces of cat paws on the mirror lol! he is entered in the night…

Nice build man!

2 questions:

1. What kind of IR leds are you using? Are they 780nm?

2. The illumination led 120 squares, where did you get those and do they emit 780nm light?

@KvB

why are you especially looking for 780nm ? you know that ~850nm is more “visible” to the most cameras ?

Well I don’t really want 780nm leds.

I just asked if his were 780nm so it’s comparable with my 780nm LLP setup… in which case I can actually use the 120LED illuminators that are used here.

Anyway, I notice now that the second question I asked answers my first question as well smile

So: Where can I find these 120 LED illuminators and will they emit 780nm light (which is not good in my setup)?

Yop,

I purchased here http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360231936995#ht_587wt_926, but if I had to buy again I would not like that, because in the end I removed the box and used my computer power ! ^ ^

If I still have to buy I would take http://shop.ebay.fr/i.html?LH_AvailTo=71&_nkw=iR+Infrared+Illuminator&_sc=1&_sop=15, you sought advice in the appropriate section where you can actually use with computer power.

Ciao,

Aaaaaah,

Now I understand my confusion and some of the earlier replies. You used the LEDs as IR illuminators, not as LCD backlight LED (visible)!

Haha, I’m looking for decent LCD backlight leds, which do NOT emit 780nm but only visible light smile

Thanks for your information though!

What software do you use for your demo? I find a lot of software but none as complete as those of your demo.

J’ai utilisé “NUITEQ Snowflake Suite” (version démo, il est extrêmement cher le soft complet !! lol) et “Cooliris” compatible sous plusieurs navigateurs.
