since three weeks im trying to get a stable 60 fps with two cameras @ 1280x480

have a look here: http://codelaboratories.com/forums/viewthread/229/

alex assumed that CCV might have a bug cuz its not showing the correct framerate - even though my cpu-load was low…

finally i started all over - updated mainboard / usb drivers again, re-installed CCV (after i re-installed CL-eye driver), then i disabled the “turbo core” function for my i5 cpu and also disabled firewire via bios, and set the config to:

<!--// CAMERA SETTINGS // -->

1
0
1280
480
<FRAMERATE>75</FRAMERATE>

...et voilá!!!

still CCV starts with a grey screen but after 2 minutes i have FIX 76fps cool smile
(the framerate only drops to ~60 because of the screen recorder)

great job, goat! I’ve been following your progress for some time and you’ve been working hard on this one for a while now.

So, what’s your next step?

here are the latest FPS-test videos:

VGA ...still takes ~2 minutes for CCV to show target fps - but then works fine!!

QVGA

@coffeegod
next step is integrating the mirror and mounting all components inside the wood box… i really didnt want to use one but i get immense keystoning when i tilt the sanyo projector.
